Occupational Medicine in Glendale
We work with employers across Glendale, Pasadena, and greater Los Angeles — providing the physicals, screenings, and testing that keep workplaces compliant and workers cleared to start. Scheduling is straightforward, results come back promptly, and you deal with one point of contact rather than a call center.
Pre-Employment Physicals
Pre-employment physicals generally include checks of the employee’s vital signs and overall physical condition. The particular tests that might be performed will depend on the tasks of the position for which the applicant has received a conditional job offer. A basic pre-employment physical exam will include the following:
• Health Questionnaire
• Neurological Assessment
• General Non-Audiometric Hearing Assessment
• Musculoskeletal Assessment
• Vision Test
• Pulmonary Exam
• Cardiovascular Assessment
• Completion of Appropriate Paperwork
TB Testing
A TB test screens for infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, the bacteria that causes tuberculosis (TB). There are two types of latent TB infection (LTBI) screens: a skin test and a blood test. The blood test—called an Interferon-Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) or “QuantiFERON”—is the one our office performs, as required by most employers.
N95 Respirator Fit Testing
OSHA-compliant fit testing for employees required to wear N95 respirators. Fit testing is required annually and whenever the respirator model changes, and a medical evaluation questionnaire must be completed first. We can test individuals or schedule your full team in one visit.
Drug Screening
Our rapid urine drug screen detects a range of substances to ensure compliance and safety in various healthcare settings and workplace facilities.
Lab Tests
Titer testing for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella determines your immunity status against measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and chickenpox—confirming protection against these infections.
